The 8th Asia Pacific Regional Conference will be held at EQ Kuala Lumpur, which is on Jalan Sultan Ismail, and located close to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).

KLCC is the vibrant heart of Kuala Lumpur, best known for the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The area is a hub for luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment, with Suria KLCC mall, the beautiful KLCC Park, and a variety of five-star hotels all within walking distance. It's a modern, sleek part of the city that’s perfect for sightseeing, business, or a relaxed urban stay.

It is also close to the busy shopping and dining precinct of Bukit Bintang.

Getting here from the Airport

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is about 60 km from the Conference venue. You have a few options:

  • KLIA Ekspres: The fastest way is a direct train from KLIA to KL Sentral station in about 28 minutes. Tickets are available at the airport or can be purchased online in advance.

  • Airport Taxi: Purchase a coupon from the taxi counter at the airport; fixed fares apply. It usually takes about 45-60 minutes to reach KL in normal traffic conditions.

  • Ride-hailing Apps: Grab (Southeast Asia’s Uber) is widely used and convenient.

  • Bus: Airport coach services are a budget-friendly option, taking about an hour to reach KL Sentral.

How to Get Around KL

  • MRT, LRT & Monorail: Kuala Lumpur’s public transport network is efficient and cheap, connecting major attractions, malls, and neighborhoods. The closest Monorail station to the Conference venue is Raja Chulan (MR7).

  • Grab: Affordable and very popular for door-to-door convenience.

  • Hop-On Hop-Off Bus: A great choice if you're sightseeing, with stops at key landmarks.

  • Walking: KLCC and Bukit Bintang are within walking distance from the Conference venue, with air-conditioned pedestrian bridges in some areas.

  • Taxis: Available, but it's best to insist on using the meter.

Parking

If you would like to park in the hotel, there is a flat rate for conference delegates of RM 15.00 nett per entry (manual ticket only, do not use Touch n Go). Parking is available on L2 to B4 floors (except reserved spots). Valet services are RM 40.00 nett per entry.

Parking tickets are endorsed at the hotel reception in the lobby.
