Meeting

Young IFA Network (YIN)

The Young IFA Network (YIN) is a growing IFA community for the younger members of IFA. The purpose of YIN is to attract more IFA members in the early stages of their career, providing a forum for developing international tax contacts, exchanging ideas on international tax matters, and adding new perspectives to IFA’s programmes at the Branch level and worldwide. Each year, the YIN Committee takes new initiatives to enhance the participation of YIN members in various IFA activities and to expand the reach of YIN among young professionals at the various IFA levels. These include further strengthening the YIN communication infrastructure and establishing a good network among the YIN Representatives.

YIN seminars are also a feature of the Annual Congresses, including the winning theses of the Mitchell B. Carroll and Maurice Lauré Prizes and a moot court. The traditional Meet & Greet reception for YIN Members and IFA Members is a great opportunity to meet fellow YIN members. YIN Representatives of each IFA Branch meet in a dedicated meeting to discuss activities in their branches and share their experiences in expanding the YIN network.

YIN members (aged 29 years and below) of the Malaysia Branch may qualify for a 50% reduction on the membership subscription fees. Members aged 30-40 will automatically qualify as YIN members but are not entitled to the discount.

For more information, please contact the YIN Representative for Malaysia.
